“ Jessica is the sweetest bar manager I have ever met. She took me in like family. I live two blocks away and make it a point to visit 2-3 times a day. The decore is reminecent of the Italian city of Tivoli and has photos throughout the establishment of first responders. Katy is kind, beautiful, and hilarious! I highly recommend going here to grab some delicious food, drink with friends, and or have a business meeting. ”
“ This is the oldest bar in the Gaslamp District. It has all kind of history. The walls are alive with art and memorabilia. I had to go in, it was calling me. I'm so glad i did. I had an amazing time. It wasn't that crowded and the people that was there were regulars. Good vibe. Have your I.D ready of you look younger than 25. I got I.Ded, lol. I have a tasty Peach Ale fresh from the tap. My Bartender was DAMN SAM, her name is Samantha but that's the nickname I gave her. DAMN SAM is very entertaining. She has a great personality. She beautiful inside and out. Carlos was her assistant. Carlos has the cutest dimple and great taste in music. Lois(my bunkie that i met at the hostel) and I had a blast. Dancing in our chairs, singing along with the Juke box, drinking and Laughing. You have to stop here, if you're in the area. Good times ”
“ Great bar friendly service. Only place we found Corona Premier ”
“ Greatest vibe I've had in a long time. Felt instantly at home, had instant rapport with the owners that are actively on/off-site involved daily. Their family history is spoken throughout the many photos, autographs and other memorabilia placed throughout the venue. Servers were quick to greet, serve and even mingle when time allowed. You know it's a great place when staff prefers to relax on site during their breaks with patrons that have become friends. The prices are very affordable, as is the food! I highly recommend stopping by! Oh and the sports presence is large and the venue is conveniently located only a few blocks from the Padre stadium. ”
“ Unofficially the oldest bar in S.D. but nevertheless the oldest. Good drinks and great bar food. There's a reason it's been here so long. Not to far from the ballpark, indoor/outdoor seating, full bar, good service. Love this spot! ”
